Dipendra Lama was born in the remote village at Rajbas,Nagregagerche 2, Chauridurali Rural Municipality, Kavrepalanchok,Nepal.He started the tourism career as a porter in 2007. He has visited most of the well-known trekking spots, peaks and Himalaya range throughout his profession as a porter and guide .He have been working in various trekking companies and organisations either as porter or as a guide. Currently he is involved as a trekking operator (field organisation) in Dimas Adventure. Sure Nepal is naturally a beautiful country where many regular and newly explored trekking routes are used in various grades. All treks offer spectacular scenery and a viewpoint into Nepali culture. Dipendra can recommend tasty local foods,culture and show you holy places. And If you are interested in volunteering with a local public school (Government School,Hospital or In monastery ) he can manage it. I like travelling, mountains, active holidays and getting to know other cultures. In 2008 I visited Nepal for the first time (Rafting on the Karnali River, visiting Bardia NP and trekking to Annapurna Base Camp) Nepal is so different from my country and I fell in love with it at first sight. I wanted to somehow help the people living under the Himalayas. That is why I became a volunteer with Namaste Nepal, a non-profit organization in the Czech Republic. 2009 - 2015 - I was a coordinator of the project "Smile from Nepal" (individual child school education support). 2015 - 2018 - After the big earthquake I started coordinate the project "Volunteers", Czech people who wanted to teach English on Nepalese schools in remote villages. Among many small projects I made up and I really love the project "Picnic for Schoolchildren" - fundraising money from the Czech children for picnic and food for Nepalese children. I have visited Nepal many times, I have many friends here, I love Nepali people, culture, mountains and Nepal definitely my second home.
